The Orb Phenomenon

We’d love to claim that every orb is a ghost,  but that is not necessarily the case.  The truth is the majority of orb photos are merely refractions of light on the camera lens. This occurs when the camera flash bounces back from something reflective within a few inches of the camera lens, usually just dust or moisture floating in the air.  By educating ourselves to better scrutinize photos, our chances of validating true paranormal phenomenon will be more successful.

The photos and video below, however, help support that some orbs are in fact real...

Taken in my back yard this photo shows an orb trying to hide behind a leaf.  You can clearly see that the orb is partially hidden behind the leaf, therefore, it is not a rain droplet or dust particle right in front of the camera lens.

The picture below was taken in my bedroom. This photo is very unique because the orb actually casts its own reflection!  Look to the right of the orb.  You can clearly see the orb's reflection in the dresser - a dust particle in front of the lens would not cast a reflection in the dresser.  The dimensions and angle of the orb and the reflection are consistent with one another.

One evening after sensing a presence in the living room, I snapped a few photos. I took many pictures and got one orb in each photo. The most interesting though was this one below. The orb moved underneath the coffee table and is partially hidden behind one of the table legs. This again is proof that the orb pheonmenon is not simply dust or moisture in front of the camera lens. If that is a dust particle peeking from behind the table leg, then that is one big particle of dust! I don't think so!

An orb in motion was also caught by my digital camcorder using the infrared mode. The orb appears from underneath the dining room table, and very quickly zooms off to the right into the nearby hallway and out of sight from the camera.
