The Giggling Little Girl Spirit

One of my most interesting paranormal experiences occurred on a Tuesday morning around 2:50 a.m., July 2 of 2002.

Instead of me hunting for the spirits, this time it seems the spirits came to me.  Actually, I believe the spirit may have been trying to contact my daughter.  This is what happened:

My wife had accidentally awoken me.  Laying in bed, I attempted to go back to sleep.  My seven year old daughter, Amanda, was sleeping on the other side next to me.  As I was laying there, I heard a little girl voice laugh/giggle in my right ear.  I thought for sure that Amanda had woke up and was laughing about something.  I raised my head, looked over where she was laying and opened my eyes and said "What?".  Expecting to see Amanda sitting up in the bed, I was shocked to see a floating ball of white light.  The outer edges seemed to flow or radiate (for lack of a better term).  The entity quickly backed away from me and disappeared - it is quite possible this spirit was just as shocked as I was when I saw her.  It seemed to dissipate from the outside to the inside until it was no longer visible.  This encounter lasted about five seconds - a lot longer than just a 'blink of an eye".

After overcoming the shock of what I had just experienced, it occurred to me,  " I need to take some pictures!"  So, I did.

When I reviewed the pictures, I found that I did indeed catch some "orbs"  in a couple photos.  However,  in one particular picture,  I had captured the exact image of what I had seen just minutes before.  The photo above is a cropped, enlarged image of what I am convinced is the spirit of a little girl.

Amanda had friends over earlier in the evening, before she had went to bed.  One of  her friends stayed overnight.  Perhaps,  this  little girl spirit had found children her own age that she wanted to play with and perhaps she wasn't quite ready for bed herself.
